Refund and Returns Policy
At Akhwat, we strive to ensure that our buyers are satisfied with their purchases. This Returns and Refunds Policy outlines the process for returning items and obtaining refunds. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities as a buyer or a seller.
- General Returns Policy
- Returns Acceptance: Akhwat typically will not accept returns, unless the item(s) are significantly damaged and not as described in its initial listing description, which is agreed by the seller.
- Returns: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return. If 14 days have passed, we cannot offer you a *(full) refund.
*Seller may negotiate a partial refund
- Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for return, the following conditions must be met:
- The item must be unused, and in the same condition that was advertised on the listing through the website.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging and securely packaged.
- A receipt of proof of purchase must be provided if requested by the seller.
- Opening a Returns Request
- Contact the seller: To complete your return, please contact the seller directly through the Akhwat website. Do not send the return to the manufacturer.
- Response: The seller will contact the buyer (advised within 3 days)
- Return Postage: Buyers are responsible for purchasing return postage and obtaining a return label.
- Refund Process
- Verification of returns: Once your return is received, the seller will verify the item and notify you through email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Refund approval: if your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, usually within 3 working days
- Late returns: Any item returned more than 14 days after delivery may be rejected by the seller at their discretion.
- Late or missing refunds
In case you have not received your refund, follow the steps below:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company, it can take some time before your refund is officially actioned.
- Contact your bank to see if there is some processing time before a refund is actioned.
- Contact the seller directly at the provided email on the website.

- Non-refundable and Sales items
Only items marked as refundable may be refunded, sale items and nonrefundable items cannot be refunded.
- Misuse of Returns
Users should not misuse their returns by falsely reporting items faulty or returning items other than one purchased.
In such cases, sellers have the right to request users’ accounts to be suspended or terminated.
- Return Shipping
- To return your item, please email it to the address provided by the seller.
- You, as the buyer, are responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item.
- Shipping costs are nonrefundable; if you receive a refund of the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- If you have purchased a more expensive item and wish to return it, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your return item.
